Free Microsoft SoftGrid Client Setup Kit Released

The brilliant minds at Login Consultants just released a free tool that allows you to create a custom VBS script to remotely install the Microsoft SoftGrid client.
With this SoftGrid Client Setup Kit (SGCSK) you can easily configure an universal installation VB Script for deploying the SoftGrid Client to Windows Desktops. Every SoftGrid client tends to a bit different so there is a need for some additional intelligence during installation, not to mention there are some settings that are needed but just not possible to configure through the native SoftGrid Client. Microsoft SoftGrid Client Policy Template

SoftGrid expert, Ruben Spruijt, released a Microsoft SoftGrid Client Group Policy object (GPO) administrative template (ADM). The template is designed for environments where Microsoft SoftGrid on Desktops, Laptops or Terminal Servers is used. The template will support all the relevant settings and parameters that are stored in the registry. Download is here.

The company I am working now, plans to use SoftGrid. Now there is one problem. They have lots of machines which are not part of the domain security boundary. Yuk, how we are going to solve this? Luckily I didn't have to reinvent the wheel. Zarb and Bennett already did.
